National Student Energy Survey

The National Student Energy Survey is a very easy activity to conduct as it’s done on-line by students and adults. Each of the 15 questions will have an optional 10-15 second video segment to support the question.

Just taking the 10-12 minute survey gets participants identifying and thinking about important energy issues. For some schools, conducting the Survey will be the only activity they conduct as part of the national energy education program.

Using a school code, local leaders will receive Survey results for several reporting groups such as grade levels and sex. Instructions for administering the survey to adults will be provided and the results tabulated separate from students. The survey services are free of charge through support of local and national sponsors. Survey results will be announced and publicized at the local, state, and national levels.
