What would the nation’s future look like with a significantly more energy educated public? The answer is that students and the general public, if provided with balanced and scientific information, would support wise energy policies and be wise in their own personal energy use.
In 2009, a ten year effort was launched to prompt business,
government, and the education
community to join together at all
levels to establish programs which support ongoing and comprehensive
energy education programming in the nation’s schools and
communities.
To amplify the efforts of thousands of programs, local student and adult leaders will be encouraged to conduct the program activities in and out of school during March
